Rachel was brought on to collaborate with her client and the builder, guiding the selection process for both the interior and exterior of the home from start to finish. Inside, she curated every detail, from flooring choices—including wood, brick, and tile—to selecting paint colors, millwork designs, and window styles. She played a key role in designing fireplaces, choosing styles, stone finishes, mantles, and hearths, while also selecting plumbing fixtures and mapping out the kitchen and bathrooms, including finishes and appliances.
Lighting was another major focus, with Rachel carefully selecting fixtures and determining their placement. She also assisted with furniture choices and window treatments, incorporating Roman shades, panels, sheers, and wood blinds. While much of the design is complete, the final touches are still evolving, allowing Linda to personalize the space as she settles in and determines how each room will be used.
For the exterior, Rachel coordinated all finishes, ensuring a cohesive and beautifully designed home inside and out. This included selecting lighting, stone, brickwork, custom cement logs, roofing materials, and exterior fireplaces, all chosen to enhance the home’s overall aesthetic and functionality.
